Removing main menu navigation

Hello i want to completely remove main menu in Pinpoint to achieve similar effect like in this site http://www.sli.do/. (instead of menu aligned on right i just want to have the social contact info as it is now) I know how to remove menu navigation but what i need is to screen space that is appearing here. Thanks for help with this issue.

Not sure I understand what you’re trying to do. Do you need it to just disappear, but keep the background behind it?

If yes, it can be done with some custom CSS:

#main-navigation { visibility: hidden; }

I to want to hide the main menu on the home page – but when I use the custom css it does not show up on mobile. I am trying to achieve a full screen picture slide show on the home page with out the menu but I still want the menu on all other pages exept home page.
