Removing featured image from the head of a post

Hi,

In my last contact i asked how can i add images into the recent post widget in a sidebar. Mel logged in with a user/pass and showed me on the first post (Veeam post), which is simple enough and as per standard add via featured image on the right of the image. But how is it that when i do this with the next 2 posts, the featured image is a big full length image in the header? How do I remove the featured image from the head of the actual post but keep in for the widget thumbs?

Also how do i reduce the space between the lines in the footer. I expect this is in the css but i cant seem to find where? Please see attached for what i mean by spacing.

First one that you add the featured image to http://xlstream.co.uk/application-spotlight-veeam/

2nd post where i have done the same but featured image is at the top of the post page http://xlstream.co.uk/application-spotlight-propalms/

This css will remove the image

.media-wrap.full-width-detail {
display: none;
}

but I was asking for a page where I can see the “>” error you described.
