I hope this isn’t inappropriate for this forum. I’m having some trouble with
using shortcodes such as columns along with a h3 text. With no luck, wordpess (or Dante?)
keeps putting a line-break between my shortcode and heading.

    Example:

    [one_half]<h3>Heading</h3>
    <h4>General Manager</h4>
    [/one_half]

    This is what happends:

    [one_half]
    <h3>Heading</h3>
    <h4>General Manager</h4>
    [/one_half]

The heading jumps down one line, making the text uneven with the text in the second(last) “one_half” column.

    Any ideas?

    Hi

Headings have to be on there own line, it’s just the way wordpress works. It’s like trying to put a paragraph on the same line as a heading without it creating a linebreak.

Exactly. But there should be a way to work around this as it can
be quite annoying when trying to work with details in text and layout.

But I guess I’ll have to ask someone working on the WordPress support.

    Thanks anyways!

    Solution:
The heading styles actually have a bottom and top margin, making it jump down one line.
Using custom css to remove the margin messed up some of the other pages, so ending up using
    <h3 style=”maring:0;”> seemed to work.
