I’m having an issue with the Related Projects aspect of the portfolio. For some reason, mine only seems to cycle through the same 4 or 5 pieces per category even though I have a lot more pieces to pick from in certain categories. Which is kind of drag because once you’ve viewed them, you’re sick of seeing them and don’t get the option or variety to see other work which makes it kind of redundant. Is there any way to randomize the Related Projects more? Or something so they show more variety rather than just sticking to the same 4 or 5 pieces?

    Hi

Well, the related projects work depending on categories, so it will show the projects that are in the same category. I’m guessing the 4 or 5 ones that you are referring to are the newest in the category?

Yeah, that’s correct. For categories where there aren’t many pieces, that’s not a problem. But for my Design portfolio, for instance, there are 20 pieces. As you get deeper clicking into the portfolio you just keep seeing the same related work over and over which after a certain point defeats the purpose.

Unfortunately that’s the way it works, if you wanted it to be more specific you would need to add custom code to use things like tags etc. However this is beyond the scope of our support as it is quite a lot of work

OK, thanks. Maybe I can put that into the feature request section for possible update. Thanks.
