Recurring payments / subscriptions

Hi, I’d like to offer a ‘subscription’ product on my site. Can you tell me if this is something that can be adapted within the existing theme? I see that woocommerce offer an add-on called Woocommerce Subscriptions, but it costs $199 so I wonder if there is an easier / cheaper way?

Hi,

This functionality will belong to the eCommerce plugin you are using usually by means of an extension via another plugin, this functionality would not be baked within the theme.

You will need to choose from the following if using WooCommerce:

If using EDD, you have this: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/downloads/recurring-payments/.

A third option is to pay a developer to build you a custom plugin, but this would likely cost $x,xxx.

I see that YITH do a plugin for this too. Are you familiar with their plugins / their quality? I see you use the YITH Wishlist for the Atelier plugin which I use, so I assume this would be a decent one?

Thanks. I’ve installed the free version and it seems to work well. Though it only covers simple products, and as I want to do variable products for subscriptions I am going to buy the premium version. Still, this costs $99 instead of $199 for the Woocommerce one, so I’m happy with that.
