We’re using Revolution Slider but would like to use a simpler slider plugin. Can you list the other slider plugins that are known to work well with neighborhood theme? like layerslider or metaslider? We just need something less complex than revolution slider so sliders are easier to build & edit for our staff.

For Neighborhood specifically I can only Revolution Slider, I have not tested other to say with confidence.

Our other themes Atelier/Nota/Uplift/Joyn make use of the much simpler (made by us) Swift Slider / Rev Slider and Master Slider.
