    Hi, I am using the Post Thumbnail meta options to generate the thumbnail for the posts, but need to also set the ‘featured image’ for the Swiftframework Recent Posts widget to show the image with the post title.

    Ideally is there a way to have the Swiftframework Recent Posts widget show the thumbnail image chosen in the post’s ‘thumbnail meta options’?

    If not, is it possible to have the ‘featured image’ not show in the post content?

    thanks.

    You could hide the featured image on blog posts with custom CSS:

    .single .page-content > .media-wrap { display: none !important; }

    Hi Cosmin,

    Thanks for the CSS snippet. Is there a specific location I need to place the CSS coding within the site for it to take effect? I simply copy/pasted the text above into the section for Custom CSS within Theme Options –> General Options and I did not notice any change occur on my blog posts. Do I need to add the custom css somewhere different? Perhaps on each individual blog post?

    Thanks much,
    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,

    You’ve added it in the right place, so I can only think that:

    – maybe you are seeing a cached version of your site. Try clearing the browser’s cache or, if using plugins for caching your site, clear those too.

    – maybe you’re using a different element on that page? Can I see it?

    Regards,
