Recent Post, Post-List styles

Hi,

We’re trying to find a good way to display a page of tutorials (blogs)…

We’ve used masonry style, but it means users have to scroll the whole page to see titles / topics

We want to show the categories better… hence wondering what options exist?

a) Can we make the recent posts // post-list view, pslit into 2 columns?
b) can we add thumbnail images to the post list view above?
c) how can we use toggles, but insert the blog category to display in individual toggles?
d) how can we create something exactly similar to: http://www.swiftideas.com/knowledgebase/
e) any other ideas?

Hi,

There are various different ways to approach this, each with pro’s and con’s.

From what you have mentioned I’d say a good way would be to use an expandable Row asset, then within this use the Recent posts asset set to Carousel mode. You can then set the categories for each one.

Please create a test page, select “Classic Mode”, switch to the “Text” tab and paste in the below, then switch back to Swift Page Builder:

Unfortunately that is custom coded and is not replicable, you would need to hire a developer to create something like that for you.
