Question about WooCommerce products

Hello guys.. I have perhaps an odd request, but I hope you can help me out! We run a bikestore, and we have a lot of products that can only be bought in our retail store. But we would still like to have them on our webshop just like every other product, except you cannot purchase them there. So is it possible to add the product like all other products so they show up normally, but cannot be purchased?

Hi,

1. Click on Products > Add New
2. Add your Title
3. Add a brief description or instructions to the post editor area
4. Select External/Affiliate Product from the Product Data  panel
5. Optional: If you want to display a Contact or Inquiry button:
   • Enter the full URL to your contact page or page in the Product URL field
   • Enter the text you want to display on the button in the Button Text field, ie “Inquire” or “Request More Info”
6. Optional: If you want to display a price:
   • Enter the Regular Price
7. Optional: If you want to display attributes such as Color, Available sizes, etc, you may add them under the Attributes tab as normal.
8. Click on Add Product Image to upload and set your product featured image.
   • To add additional images, click on Add Product Gallery Images
9. Select your Product Category
10. Click  Publish

Hello I tried to follow your guide, and my WooCommerce is being very strange 🙁

This is how my page looks now. I do not know why there are so many random , in the product tags, the description looks funny even though I wrote it with proper html and I added color attributes but they are not showing?

Ahh the page was just being slow, now there are less bugs.

I tried to add the two color attributes and in one of them I wrote “Black” in the other “Red but they are not showing up? Also I would like to add a big note saying “This product can only be ought in the store” I did choose the external is that possible? I do not want it to link anywhere, because the product can be bought in our store only, not online so no external site needed.

Also in the beskrivelse (which means description) why is the layout so weird? I wrote the layout with proper html.

What you mean by weird layout? Can you post a screenshot explaining your issue?

Will do, but I think I figured it out myself, so I will save you guys the time for now! You are so helpful so I do not want to waste it. I have a few easy questions though:

 

1. Can you give one example where you can select colours from a drop down under a product?

2. Can you give one example where you can select size from a drop down under a product?

3. Is it possible to change the “SKU” (the order number) to “Varenummer” which is the word we use in my country for that.

4. How do you change/translate the following on the product page: “Need help” “Contact Us” “Share” “Leave Feedback”. Also how do you make the contact us go to our contact page? 🙂

5. On the product (before you open it) how do you remove the tags? I only want the tags to be visible once you select the product.

Also the Bulleted list just won’t work? On all of my products I added a bulleted list and in the settings you see it, but on the product page it is not bulleted.

Try to look at one of the products. It says the product name, and then displays the tags below. I do not want the tags to show out there.

And the “Need help? Contact us”

can see it there for instance 🙂 just want it all gone. I want reviews, but not the leave feedback thing and the contact us part there.
