    Hi!

I’m wondering what has happened to the placement of my product thumbs on this page since I updated WooCommerce and Neighborhood? I have the latest versions of everything. Please see image.

Are you using the page builder product element?

The issue was with the W3 Total Cache plugin

OK…but if I don’t have W3 Total Cache active, my site loads in 9 seconds. I can’t be live being that slow. How would you solve this?

You need to configure the plugin, I have reactivated it. However you will need to adjust settings to prevent it from breaking the woocommerce layout

Aha…I have no clue what should be changed in it. Are there any specific search words I can look for somewhere?

Can you try disable to minification to see if that does anything?

Cool. It worked to disable CSS minify in W3 Total Cache. My product page loads crazy slow though…Is there something else I can do about it to make it faster? I have installed WP Optimize.

    Hi

You have a lot of plugins installed on your site, probably part of the reason your page is loading slowly. Also your hosting, just tested with http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/tvcWe/http://monroedesign.se/kop-vaggdekor/ and it’s quite a few seconds before the page even starts to load, which is down to your hosting

Hmm…I have had my host (Loopia.se) move my site to their new and faster server. When I write the host support, they say it’s not their fault my site is slow. They say it something with my set up and they tell me to write the theme support.

I’m using most of my plugins and unfortunately I guess it’s just going to get worse when I soon activate the WPML pluging to make my site both in English and Swedish.

Isn’t there anything I can do? The users are not going to have the patience with my slow site.

By the way, I have ANOTHER question about products. I’ll post it in a new thread because I’m sure others have the same question.

Just basic practice, have a look on Google for how to reduce page load time. It’s not anything to do with the theme as our demo has a 92% speed rating, therefore additional page load time is due to images, plugins, amount of posts etc.

OK. I was hoping my W3 Total Cache and WP Optimize would do the trick. But OK. Thanx!
