    Hello,

I recently switched styles of my product page from fullscreen split back to standard. However, my product images are no longer showing. The default variation (black) briefly shows when the page is loading but then disappears.

    Please help!

    Thanks a bunch.

    Ori

    Hi

    1) Please make all site updates and check again

    2) If that does not work deactivate all plugins apart from Swift Framework and WooCommerce to see if that fixes the issue

    Thanks Kyle.

I tried deactivating one by one and it didn’t fix the issue.

Worth noting: I updated to wordpress 4.6.1 just before this issue started. It is possible that caused it (and rolling back to a previous wp version could fix it)?

Please let me know what to try next. We are very eager to fix this and launch the site.

    Thank you,

Please can you disable all plugins leaving only Swift Framework and WooCommerce active whilst we help look into this with you.

    Hi,

What version of PHP is your host using, can you confirm PHP 7? Please also confirm they have imagemagick extension installed.

    Thanks.

Hi David, I contacted our host and this was their reply:

The site is running PHP 5.6 – PHP 7 is an option, although I’ve never seen an instance where switching to 7 fixes a problem, as basically everything is still being designed for the 5.x versions. ImageMagick is installed.

What caching plugin or system is that you are using:

    – Can they test PHP7 to confirm that is not the cause.

An updated reply from my host regarding caching:

“We have a server-side cache that is a Varnish installation, with a configuration we’ve designed for WordPress. We then install a file at /wp-content/mu-plugins/lb-mu.php that automates purging of the Varnish cache.”

Please clear your browser cache and now re-test. I have re-saved the product and have disabled your child theme whilst I was testing this.

    Thanks David!

It is working on our end now as well. However, we would like to use a child theme so that we can take advantage of theme updates. Is it safe to re-activate it and the other plugins?

    Hey David,

I just noticed that if I switch the product page thumbnails from ‘bottom’ to ‘left’ in Theme Options -> Product Options, the problem returns. Luckily, it goes away if I switch back.

    Might this be a bug?

    Hi,

I thought this also however I cannot replicate this locally even if I follow the exact steps mentioned.

Assuming you have made no core edits?

    – David.

    Correct. No core edits.

Are we safe to go ahead and turn the plugins and child theme back on?
