Product meta SEO issues & swift builder

When using Page Builder ON Product Pages for woocommerce and both product meta description boxes (Product Short Description and Product Description) Yoast analyze is very very bad…
> None of titles, content text inside descriptions are viewed by Yoast, like the product page is empty ! too bad for SEO
Please advice a solution, what about search engine reading the page, do they see empty description product, no h1, h2, content text, keyword… Or is it an analyze bug/incompatibility between Dante theme and Yoast ?

Hi @mik421,

Yoast by default will only check the main content – not the short description meta options. If you add content in the main area – text, photos etc it will pick it up just fine.

The short description boxes are only meant for a small amount of text anyway.

Quite bad news, THE QUESTION IS what about search engine, are the meta descriptions also empty for them ? Or do they consider the text inside, very important for SEO, why making an ecommerce site if SEO isn’t working…

You said The short description boxes are only meant for a small amount of text anyway, around 100-200 words is good enough for SEO and a lot of people (big majority) are describing products at this place. Even the additional informaton are not viewed by Yoast.

Thanks for your answer, is the SEO then bad or OK ? is it just a Yoast/Dante issue or search engine consider zero words in those 2 areas.

Hi @mik421,

Yoast will only reply on the WordPress content – not the other content that goes onto the page such as the meta boxes (which is what Google can see from the page source).
