Product Images

What are the best sizes to set images – I have edited all of the photos in Photoshop and made them square, and they look great when I export them to about 800px x 800px in size but they look really fuzzy – I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

Could you please assist.

Hi foryourhome. Thanks for the link, but our issue is different – we have hi resolution images, and when added they appear a lot larger (on the product page than the actual image size that I have exported from Photoshop.

They also appear to be oversized in the Featured Products section of the home page.

I have changed the image size in Woocommerce settings, but this does not appear to make a difference.

Hi, make sure you are on the latest version of the theme and a compatible version of WP 🙂

I have the latest version of WP and the latest version update of Neighborhood theme.

– I have set the image sizes to recommended in documentation;
– I have regenerated the thumbnails with the recommended plugin;
– I have removed all products and added again a number of times.

1. The product images are VERY big on the product page;
2. On mouse-over the ‘englarged image’ is smaller than the image on the product page.

Hi,

the image will always be resized to fit the width of the column it lays in. So if you would like to have a less high image you would need to upload a more wide image.
