Definitely GD Image library is enabled and working. The problem seems to be when building the path to the images.

Manage to get it working on your site but will check it further with the development team.

This issue is still happening with my site. I have spoken to the host and GD image library is enabled.

Where the image is supposed to be displayed, it shows this error:

Can you double check the permissions for that ftp user? I can only see the file .ftpquota

I just wanted to say that I have same problem, but it occurred now after a migration between hosts. I have GD installed and everything seems to be working.
I can only see the thumbnails but not the featured image of products in the front-end, but in the back-end I can actually see both the featured image and the image gallery.
The media library is working and i don’t think there are any problems with paths since I didn’t change the domain name.

I have the same problem, updated and now the product images are no longer displaying category pages , only on singe product page, but without magnify effect, etc. Also the whole Single product page has changed of configuration, and is not responding to any changes made in Theme options…
