Product Images being truncated?

any ideas why the image is being truncated? it’s not the CSS it seems but the image being cut off.

This started happening after the most recent patch. It seems like a new image file is being generated instead of using the one I selected. The thumbnail uses the correct image file and works fine.

I did try regenerating the thumbnails. I did try uploading the same image again, it’s still being cropped. This wasn’t happening before the most recent theme patch.

These should not cropped like that, can you attach the original here?

I do not experience this on my dev version so will need that image (original) to replicate this.

The original is the thumbnail and what shows up in the lightbox.

Maybe it’s a plugin doing this? I will check. It’s not happening on all products or images, only some.

Was not a plugin. How could an image be converted into another like that? Obviously something going on backend

Hi,

I know WooCommerce recently updated their single product image image filters, which could be causing this, your Single Product Image setting is set to hard crop which is likely causing this to happen.

Can you change the image setting within WooCommerce => Products => Display => Product Images => Single Product Image. Please remove the hard crop, then rebuild the thumbnails http://d.pr/i/7cPI.
