    Hi,

I am noticing that there are varying heights of images on the shop page, the theme doesn’t seem to be forcing the thumbnail size to be the same in the catalog. What can be done about this to stop there being some very tall and some shorter images?

    Thanks
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

What size do you have set in the thumbnail size settings? Bear in mind that all images will need to be larger than this size for the images to all be the same size on the shop page. If you upload smaller images then this will cause improper layout.

I have WooCommerce product thumbnails set at 120 x 178 with hard crop checked as per the guidance. All images are definitely larger than this though.

It looks like some of the offending images are below the width specified in the woocommerce settings which is what is preventing the resize, as soon as I made the image size above that it worked okay. I had assumed it was height but obviously I was wrong.

    Thanks

    Hi Tom,

Check this article about the product image quality. Check if your settings are similar.

Yeah I had already done that before uploading images. It looks as though it’s because in one example I uploaded an image at 439px x 900px where the minimum width and height for an upload according to these instructions is 540 x 720. Anything less on either dimensions causes an incorrectly sized image. Looks like I need to do some image resizing and re-uploading then…

    Hi,
Yes, you need to resize and re-upload images. Then everything will wok fine.
    Thanks 🙂
    With Best Regards
