@mariatrier – I have spoken to the team and Ed also regarding this issue, unfortunately there is no way the layout can work perfectly as you require it to, regardless of what setting is changed for multi-masonry/masonry thumbnail.

    Thanks again for your patience.
    – David.

    David,
So what is the purpose of this feature then? Only to set each page up as a puzzle? That does not make much sense in a shop, I must admit.

Ideally it will depend on what your masonry thumbnail is set to vs how many items appear on the page, now your page looks great: http://norinori.greatsimple.com/product-category/toej/

    Thanks.

I’m trying to replicate this type of layout for my own site, and despite many hours of playing around with it, I just cannot get it to work. I’ve even tried with a completely fresh WordPress install and imported the demo content, but it still seems to suffer from the some of the problems that Maria described.

For example, using the demo content with Multi-Masonry enabled, the images are all out of line – see screenshot. Whereas on your demo site it looks perfect – http://swiftideas.com/shop/shop-multi-masonry-boxed/

Can you tell me what settings are required to achieve this?

@techtherapy – it’s best to open a new support thread so you can privately add your own WP login details so we can help you better.

The multi-masonry layout can be set from within: Theme Options => WooCommerce Options => Shop Options => Muli Masonry.

You must be sure you have set the image size for each product from within each product under Meta Options => Masonry Thumbnail

Thanks David. I’m actually running a test site locally on MAMP rather than continue to mess up my own site while I work this out.

That completely fresh install has only WordPress 4.5.3, the latest Atelier build, and the required plugins (all updated).

I was hoping to simply study the settings in the demo site in order to fully understand how to configure this type of layout. However immediately after importing the main demo content I see that the multi-masonry images are not aligned (as per my screenshot in the last post). In your live demo version they are aligned.

I have not changed any settings at all, I’m therefore a bit confused as to how this is supposed to work.

    Thanks, Gareth

Your images you initially upload, must be large enough to be resized. Will need a staging site link to provide better feedback.

Please create your own thread for this to avoid hijacking this one.
