product image sizes

Currently have settings in woocommerce>catalog and general settings to display images as 560×420 in size. The reference link below shows an example of images that we are noticing are very much different than our specified sizes. Please assist ,thanks.

If you change image sizes, then you should regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

The product images are showing incorrectly on only certain product images. We have regenerated thumbnails now. Still see this problem. Below is another example of a product image showing incorrectly in size on multiple browsers. This image in media library shows as 480 x 640. We have three main image sizes on the site for products- 560×420, 480×640, and 640×480. Not sure how they are getting stretched beyond their max size. Any ideas?

Hi! It looks like the support staff who was assigned to this thread did not get the chance to get back to you – I’ll gladly chime in and try to help.

The big image of the slider on the single product pages like on this site: https://www.marvasplace.com/product/art-deco-dining-table-with-6-chairs/ will always stretch to the width of the column. The sizes of the catalogue don’t have any influence on that.

I understand it will stretch to the width of the column but the height seems to be affected on these examples. Please advise.

Hi, what do you mean by the height is affected?
The height of the image depends on the aspect ratio you upload. If you upload a more square or landscape mode image your height will not be as high as if you upload a very portrait-y image.
