    Hi there,

I have an issue where all of my product images are poorly aligned when viewing categories (which is how my site is set up to be viewed). My other issue is that on a product page 2 of the same images appear, one being the assigned featured image and one being one of the assigned product gallery images. I think the latter has only started happening since updating to the current wp and theme version. I have over 500 products so I realllllllly don’t want to have to change them all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a setting somewhere that can help me out?

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

Can you provide us an example giving us the url of one of those pages, and a screenshot with marked issue will also help.

    Thanks

5.36.29 file is for the issue with image alignment, note that they don’t crop or anything to make it manageable

5.38.52 file is about the doubling up of images on the product page.

    Thanks.

    Hi

In WooCommerce image settings you need hard crop enabled. Then regenerate your thumbnails with the regenerate thumbnails plugin

Hi thanks for the help Kyle.

I went to Woocommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display and then set hard crop for Catalogue images.

Then I used that plugin and hit regenerate all, but nothing seems to have changed. Have I missed a step?

Also, what about the doubling up of images?

    Kind regards.

Ok I figured it out, your image settings are set to 540 x 720 yet your images that you’re uploading are smaller than that, therefore the sizing does not run.

You either need to upload bigger images for your products or set smaller dimensions on your woocommerce settings (and regen thumbnails).

For e.g. this image: http://www.hereboy.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/HE050.jpg is only 223px wide therefore your woocommerce settings would have to be smaller than that for it to crop your images
