Product Data – Variable Product & Brand feature

Hi,
I am unable to get the Attribute “Brand” to show like the other fields like Colour, size, and fabric, for Variable Products. see attached.

As you can see the Brand field only lets me type in the brand (I am not prompted to select the already saved brand name – no gray box as in the other attributes fields.

Even when I type the name of the brand in the Attributes area for “Brand” the brand name does not appear in the Brand list on the Shop page. See attached.

How can I make the Brand “Mr. Davis” show on the shop page under the Brand list, like the other brands I have there. I have tried looking in to WooCommerce, and searched all day for an answer, and posted many requests in forums, but no answer.

Surely, I should be able to select the brand I want from my list of already input brands, as I have done for the other single product items.

Can you please point me to where I can resolve this issue? I must get the Variable Product Brand names to also appear under the Brand list.

Hi

That login does not work for me. It looks like you have added a custom attribute? If you go to products > attributes you can set up all of the brands there. Then you can select the relevant brands for each product

Done! 🙂 Like Is said, you added a custom attribute instead of selecting ‘brand’ from the dropdown menu
