Problems with site after updates

Hello,

Today I did some plugin updates and after that the layout of my site changed quite a lot…

– layout homepage is different
– there are borders where they should not be
– parallax is gone
– Swift Page Builder function on the pages all disappeared!

Some of these problems I had also while building the site.
Can you tell me what is going wrong? I hope you dan help!

Can you screenshot what borders you refer to?

The Parallax on the homepage I added back, I added the Parallax asset within a Row asset.

Hi Irene,

Yes I see those issues, I’ll need to assign our lead dev to this and see what can be done.

I’m aware you would not want to have to change all portfolio items.

Hi Irene,

I commented out some css that was adding a -55px top margin to the portfolio items, which was cutting off some of the parallax display, and we just released a plugin update to fix the background position – I updated that for you.

I added some custom css for the image in the side column for the portfolio assets, that will fix across all items.

Can you let me know if you have any other issues?

Thanks for fixing these problems.

About the parallax: this is still not the way it should be. See for example the homepage: http://irenegoede.nl/
The parallax window heigt does not work in the whole site.

The border problem is also still there.

And on this page is a white border at the top: http://irenegoede.nl/?portfolio=kriebelpoten

We have fixed window height for the next update, here is the code to fix it now:

.spb_parallax_asset.parallax-window-height {
	min-height: 100vh;
}

The white border at the top is because detail media is set to “Image” when you have no image. Please set that to none and it will be hidden.

This looks to be because you have a parallax within a row – can you move the parallax to be top level, or use the row instead?
