Wordpress version 3.8.1 running Flexform theme

Having an issue uploading the content for this theme. The demo content won’t load (telling me it’s already there, and it is not) and my shortcodes are MIA.

Need to have this all loaded up to switch to child theme to being client project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
