    Hi,

I am having an issue with my website and I am trying to figure out what causes it. I have never had a similar issue before and I wanted to double check with you its not the theme that causes it.

Basically I had started working on a website on a testing domain I have (www.iadtesting.it) and I have moved it to the new domain (www.italaw.it).

I am now having some issues when trying to delete the website from the testing domain as the database connection breaks and I can’t see the website on the new domain.

If I do a check on the console on my browser I am seeing this message:

“Font from origin ‘http://www.iadtesting.it’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘http://italaw.it’ is therefore not allowed access.”

Do you guys have any idea what causes this?

I never had any issue before when transferring websites and it seems like this problem appears when trying to transfer dante theme. I am doing the same procedure to transfer the website as every other time.

    Looking forward to your thoughts.

    Thanks in advance.

Haven’t you created a new database for your domain http://www.italaw.it and imported the old database of http://www.iadtesting.it into it?

Doesn’t look like a theme issue. Have you contacted your hosting regarding this?

I have but I am still waiting for an answer.

I just wanted to double check with you guys at the same time in case it was a theme issue.

I guess I’ll wait for their answer first.

    Thanks for your answer

    Hi,

That’s cause because the domains are different. You should stick with the same domain name with or without www

Go to Settings-> General settings and check the WordPress Address and Site Address fields. They should have the same value.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Rui,

    Thanks for the suggestion.
It wasn’t really the www part but I think I might have mis-typed something in the database while I was copying it to the new server.

I did the copying procedure again and now it works fine!

    Thanks for your time!
