    Hello There,

    I went to update the theme update the theme page. pressed update now. It went through the stages of uploading. But at the end of it says, Gone into maintenance mode, Couldn’t upload theme (couldn’t delete old verion of the theme).

    I cant do a screen shot now as I left he page and now my admin section and front end of the website says its in maintenance mode.

    I’m not quite sure what to do next? I hadn’t updated my wordpress version until I wanted to update the theme first.

    Its now out of maintenance mode but I cant seem to update the theme still.

    Im on version 4.0.5 of wordpress.

    And currently on version 1.93 of neighbourhood.

    Hi,

    Was trying to upload when I faced a permission issues to remove the files.
    That’s why you couldn’t update, you should ask your host to change those permissions.

    It should be changed from 555 to 755.

    Hello again,

    Thanks for that.. I updated the theme myself. but something seems to have happened to the website when it is displayed on my mac.

    It has now got large spacing above and below the menu on the right.. and large space below the logo on the left?

    I have attached an image showing what i mean.

    Hi,

    Glad you update it. It seems only cache.
    Clear the browser cache and try in a different browser.

    It’s displaying fine to me.
