Problem with Related Projects

Hello,

I posted earlier about the related projects function not working. Instead of displaying portfolio entries from the same category it just displays the most recent. I was told this would be fixed in the next update. I have now updated, and it is still not fixed.

Career Opportunities

still doesn’t appear fixed. Projects are only linking to the most recent.

No I did not post the wrong link. The Related projects are showing up but they are not related. It’s not showing projects that are in the same category under “Related Projects”, the way it used to. Instead it just shows the most recent projects.

This is very odd, on my local dev version I cannot replicate this – can you disable all plugins whilst we test this?

Is there no other way to resolve the issue? disabling plugins would cause the site to preform poorly, and we have a lot of people visiting our site it’s vital for our business.

No, we don’t have a staging website. We have made no changes to the theme.

Are you using any CDN?

– Can you at the very minimum disable all caching plugins/flush your CDN if applicable?

I’m also experiencing this problem with a site we are building: Related Projects on an individual project page are just the four most recent posts (Portfolio Items) instead of posts only from the appropriate Category. In other words, the projects are NOT related.
