Problem with mobile browser images persists

I’d like to start off by saying that I opened a ticket a while ago with this same problem. Images are not displaying on mobile browsers for some reason. I have tried disabling plugins many times, done various attempts with MIME-types through htaccess and finally contacted my host, as suggested by you guys back when i made the first ticket.
None of the above has made any changes and my host keeps insisting that the problem lies within the code and not with them.
This is pretty much a fresh install of both WordPress and the theme, so to be honest, i’m running out of ideas as to why this might happen.
I hope you can help.

P.s. I have attached an image of the browser as it looks on mobile browsers.

Hi,

Sorry to say but this is related to your hosting settings.

It’s having the same problem with the official Twenty 15 theme so it isn’t theme related.

Check with them again.
