Problem with maintenance mode

Ok I’ve found the issue, it’s because the ‘editor’ is not available under Appearance. Please check this with your hosting company and ask them to enable it. This will then make the maintenance mode work properly

Thank you for your quick response. The admin credential is above. What happens is like this:

I have set the Maintenance mode ON, using custom page which is a “Coming Soon” page. I installed the “custom login” plugin but I don’t see any page configuration there so I’m not sure if it’s related. I have “editor” under “Appearance”. But honestly I don’t know what to do about it.

Well, I think that’s all. Maybe I did something wrong but I can’t remember. Please check my website and tell me what I did wrong. Thank you very much!!

Hi Rui,

the correct username is above. Yes that page is what you have when you’re not logged in. But even if you’re logged in you will still get that page. Do you know what’s wrong? Thank you so much!

Hi guys,

It’s taking too long and my client won’t wait. I’m disabling the maintenance mode now and I think this issue of mine will never be resolved. But it’s fine, don’t worry about it. Maybe I will reset the wordpress and hopefully the problem will be gone for good. Thank you so much for your time, you’re the best! 🙂

You need to make sure you have permission to ‘edit themes’ otherwise you will not be able to get passed the maintenance page
