    Hi,

I’m translating the swift page builder with po file provided in swift-framework/language and I encounter a problem with the shortcode generator (see screenshot). Anything else within the page builder is translated correctly.

I’m using poedit and I have defined UTF-8 in settings.

    Can you help ?

    regards

    Hi,
Please just try out these string through PO edit and upload again updated PO and MO files. Hope that should work.

    Thanks
    Mohammad

    Hi,

What do you mean? Those strings are already in my po file so I don’t understand your answer.

    Hi,

Can you pass me the WP Login details, So we can check whats going on. You mean the word “Shortcode” and “Header” didn’t translate?

Did you try codestyling localization plugin? If so, don’t forget to generate the .mo file after translating the texts.

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Hi,

Sorry for misunderstanding the question. Can you install me the plugins like loco translate and codestyling localization to check the issues ( I tried to installed but it asks me password ) or pass me the FTP so that I can directly tackle the .po file.

    Let us know,

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Hi,

Yes I got it, after a hour of fighting I get this. Can you try this, it is not with the database like you said, it is just with the translation, while translating using the POEedit, Just use “iso-8859-1” instead “utf-8” and then re-upload the .mo file once again in the server, for some reasons I don’t know the Child theme .mo file didn’t work, only the parent theme file works, so for now do this in the parent theme ( by removing that code in child themes’s functions.php file )

    Let us know,

    Thanks,
    laranz.
