Thanks for posting your solution @Thealeman.

The demo site is running the default settings, nothing at all changed!

    Thealema-

Please read my reply carefully above!

    – Yes, as stated above, I have version 5.0.1
    – Yes as stated above, “I don’t have the patch 5.0 turned on. I only have the new plugin. 5.0.1 turned on.”

Your solution does not work for me because I can’t find “Product” in my version of the plugin. So allow me to ask you this quetion again:

    Q. I have the latest NavXT plugin uploaded v 5.0.1. I have turned off the patch. I don’t see “Product section” as you noted. Where is the “Product section” in NavXT exactly?

    thanks – Bart

Flexform developer Ed solved the breadcrumb issue with FlexForm theme, so consider this solved.

I couldn’t get NavXT to really work at all, just the page you were on was showing, no home page, no drop downs, nada.

I switched to Yoast SEO and enabled breadcrumbs, and got the top main menu pages to show up and even a prefix added to the home page “Go To Home”.

    What Ed did:
Ed asked me to check that my sub level pages all had “Parents” ticked on each page. They did not! This solved the issue with the lower level pages “disappearing” from the trail, now all the drop downs are there so users can find their way back. http://magnoliadds.com/

Thanks Ed for your due diligence, much appreciated!

    Hi Tealeman & Swift Support,

Can you maybe assist? I would like the breadcrumb to follow the path that was taken to get to the product (as that is usually where the customer would like to return to)

    For example the product is in 2 x categories (Cat1 & Cat2)
When customer reaches Product1 by going through Shop > Cat2 the breadcrumb shows up as Shop > Cat1.

I am still busy setting up shop but they are going to be in quite a few different categories & think it will be confusing if a client found a product in the “wedding” category but there is no way to get back except starting from scratch…

You maybe managed to find out the correct settings how to fix this? I tried reading through this forum but basically all the replies just say refer to the NavXT settings… But it looks greek to me 🙂

    Thank you very much!

    Hi there,

That isn’t possible with the breadcrumb plugin, as that’s not how breadcrumbs work.

The breadcrumbs simply show a hierarchy of the structure, i.e. Home > Shop > Shirts > Blue Shirt
