Problem embedding newsletter form

Hi, I´m trying to embed a mailchimp form on my homepage, it looks ok but the form is not working/ not responding.
I´ve put it in “boxed content” and the sign up form is there but nothing works.
I´ve also tried embedding it with your code following this link:

Replicate the newsletter bar form

but no success there either.
Could you please help see what´s wrong?

You need to go to embed forms and copy the html, should look like this:

Hi Kyle, I´ve tried the exact code you added but it is not working (testing on the box in swedish version at the moment) I´ve pasted the code in the boxed content and saved, but when I enter again, some of the code (including form action link) is lost?

Yes it looks fine but it doesn´t connect with mailchimp. And I wonder if it has something to do with what I mentioned in my previous post?

If you used our code then it won’t connect with your mailchaimp, you need to get your own code from them

But I did try both options; the mailchimp generated code for embedding
-classic form
– naked form
– your formcode but with my URL added– though next time entering boxed content after saving, I can´t see that first code snippet anymore.

So everything looks fine but there´s no connection with mailchimp 🙁 What to do?
I am using boxed content, through swift page builder

That should work fine, is that the code that does not connect with your mailchimp account?

No suggestions?..
It seems like something is happening when I´m saving the code in the theme, the first code snippet with my URL link disappears. Should I be able to paste the code inside the swift slider box as I have done or could that be the problem?
I also read that it could have to do with the javascript activated on the site, but that is beyond my coding knowledge. Could really use some help here.
