    Theme Version: Dante 2.54

    Issue: when I create a post, it shows up at the top of my home page. I have my home page settings set to “static page” and can not figure out how to remove the large bar across the top with the latest post.

    I don’t see a post on your homepage?

    Please make sure you have not also set the ‘posts page’ to your homepage

    I deleted the post for presentation purposes. It is back on there now.

    I have set the posts page to “news” on the reading settings (see attached screenshot)

    still showing up below header on main page?

    Hi

    You have enabled the swift slider on the top of your page. You need to take this off in the page meta options
