    Dear Swift Support,

I am having a problem with image post thumpnails displaying at a different size on my front page than the actual size of the file.

What happens is that the image I have chosen automatically scales up when used as thumpnail.

I have attached a screenshot of a thumpnail which should be way smaller than what is actually showing.

How do I solve this problem?

    Best,
    Simon

    Hi Simon,

In a responsive grid layout, the images will be scaled to fit their container, so the only option is to have a bigger (wider) image.

Ok, so what’s the minimum width a picture can have?

… to fit the container perfectly.

It’s hard to predict dimensions perfectly in a Masonry layout, as that changes every time you add a new post – it calculates heights dynamically to create an unordered grid.

I would start with doubling my image width and see how that goes.
