    Hey guys,

One of my posts is not saving meta option changes (https://events.com.au/rugby-world-cup-2015-packages/). I tried to turn off breadcrumbs and it doesn’t save when updating.

This may also be linked to WordPress SEO Plugin that doesn’t save title or meta description changes when updating.

However, i disabled all plugins and the problem still occurs with no plugins active.

    Please investigate this for me.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
Please first delate all cache that is created by theme and deactivate cache plugin. Now you have deacitvate SEO plugin to remove breadcrumb.
    Thanks
    Mohammad

    Hi Mohammed,

Unfortunately there is no Plugin conflict, as the problem is occuring with no plugins enabled.

Currently I cannot save any meta data for posts, also, when page builder is enabled and i update a post, it automatically changes to classic mode.

    Please investigate !

    Hi,
I tested many times and seems to work for me. I disabled the cache plugin and able to change page meta options. Its means that changes are not reflecting due to cache, created by plugin.
    Thanks
    Mohammad

    Hi Mohammed,

Unfortunately I cannot get the Post Options to save.

For example on this post: https://events.com.au/australian-open-2016-packages/

I am trying to untick: Include social sharing

I am trying to tick: Remove article pagination

Both of these i’m doing with W3TC total cache disabled.

This does not work, the Post Options do not save when updating.

Can you have a look at this for me?

Also, It seems strange that i would need to turn off a caching plugin to save options.

    Thanks,

    George

    Hi Mohammed,

I’ve disabled and then deleted W3 total cache plugin, refreshed everything and have the most up to date version of cardinal. Still the options don’t save.

I then tried disabling all other plugins (still have W3TC deleted) and tried to save the options. This still does not work. Therefore I can only conclude that it is a problem with the theme itself.

    Can you investigate this further?

    The problem has no re-occurred.

I’ve made no fundamental changes, other then update the theme to the latest version of cardinal.
