Hi there!
I am still building the website for a music group, to go live in May. We are using portfolios for several different type of contents: biographies, concerts and projects.
For each portfolio we assign a list of tags. When opening a portfolio and clicking on one of its tags, we should get a page result with all portfolio (and posts) related to the same tag. But it doesn’t work, as if there wasn’t any portfolio (or post) related to this tag.
You can try out with this portfolio as an example:

Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you have any plugins installed? This works fine on our demo.

April 18, 2013 at 10:45 pm #2159Hi Pierre,
The disabling of plugins is just to try and narrow down the issue, once we find it then it’s easier to solve 🙂
As I said, it works perfectly on our side, so it must be something in regards to your setup.
In regards to the ticket you had on the other site, please email me regarding that, as we had to redirect all traffic to this new site.

April 22, 2013 at 9:48 am #2419Hi Ed,
I have disabled all plugins and it still doesn’t work.
What can we do now?
Which piece of code of the Clique theme is used to show the posts per tags that are used in portfolios? Thanks and regards,
Pierre
April 22, 2013 at 9:52 am #2421One more point: the tags for post are working.
Example: http://www.lucilin.lu/v2/tag/diapason/
But the ones for the portfolios (which are custom posts I presume) are not working:
Example: http://www.lucilin.lu/v2/tag/violon/Pierre
April 23, 2013 at 11:39 pm #2723The archive.php shows the tag archive.
Not sure why it’s not working for you, as I said it’s fine here. Try this plugin? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-post-type-archives/

April 24, 2013 at 4:28 pm #2784Hi Ed,
thanks.
I’ve installed, activated and tested the plugin, it doesn’t help.
I know that it works fine on your demo.
May you please give me or help me locate the code that controls it?
I will go to the blank clean code of your theme, copy the code and put it back to my site.
Thanks and regards,
PierreApril 25, 2013 at 11:54 pm #3029Hi Pierre,
The code for the page is archive.php, and functions.php adds the support for the custom post type archives.

April 29, 2013 at 1:54 pm #3295Hi Ed,
this is not very helpful.
I was expecting some more precise info, with the exact code.
I had then to re-install the site on a new folder of the server, and now, the portfolio tags are working.
But I lost a functionality that you installed with a previous admin login. This was done through the ticket #1230 called “Multiple filtered portfolios”.
The problem is that:
1- I cannot access the details of this ticket anymore
2- you never gave me the corrective code that helped solve this ticket.Could you then please provide me with the code that enable to show only the child categories of a parent portfolio category that is selected for a given portfolio page?
Thanks and regards,
Pierre
April 30, 2013 at 10:26 pm #3498Hi Pierre,
Apologies, I assumed you’d wanted to replace the files.
Can you provide me a link again so that I can check and hopefully remember what I provided before?
Thanks,
– Ed

May 11, 2013 at 12:25 pm #4576Hi Pierre,
Can you show me the page where the filter options are showing, and what shouldn’t be showing in that list?
Thanks,
– Ed
May 11, 2013 at 1:11 pm #4580What do you mean?
The point of this ticket is that I have portfolios which have tags. But when searching for these tags, the archive page does not show these portfolios.
Example of portfolio with tags:
http://www.lucilin.lu/v2/?portfolio=olivier-sliepenExample of tag archive page where this portfolio should be listed, but isn’t:
http://www.lucilin.lu/v2/tag/olivier-sliepen/Is the problem clear?
A lot has been written already within this ticket. Thanks in advance for your help.

May 14, 2013 at 1:55 am #4750Hi Pierre,
My confusion is because we moved from the tags issue, to re-doing the previous change I made for you with the filters? It seems you have reverted back to the old code, when I was going to go in and make the same change for you to the filters.
I can’t remember what that change was, which was why I was asking for an example of what was wrong so that I could see.
