Portfolio slider won't fit…

Hi, I have set up a 2/3 width portfolio slider to go alongside a 1/3 width text box, but it refuses to be placed adjacent to it. Any ideas?
I would also like to reverse the text of the slider (white on black) and I wonder if you can save me some time by suggesting what css changes I need to make and where?

…actually I have narrowed dow the problem further – it is not just to do with the portfolio slider, but seemingly all elements in the swift page builder:
If i try to line up 2 elements vertically so they both appear alongside one (taller) element, only one will line up alongside – the other drops down so it starts below – see the attached images for clarification

Elements cannot be aligned as you have them in the second screenshot, simply because that’s not possible with the grid layout the theme is using. The only option in this case is to add the whole content of those columns you need on the left, in one single column.

For the slider, can you please link to the page where you have it, so I can see what text there is and provide some custom CSS?
