Portfolio showcase problem

Hi,

I’m using portfolio showcase element in my page with exactly same code as in Dante demo home page 1. But the portfolio images don’t fit the content area (black space underneath) as in demo and look ugly. Please help!

Already tried removing all my custom css but it doesn’t help.

I did some testing:

It seems that that portfolio showcase works fine with 4 items but with 5 items I get this strange black bar underneath it. Please help me get rid of it.

Your images aren’t large enough, they need to be at least 500px x 500px.

I used this size (as stated in documentation): 4 Column (Standard) – 420px x 315px.

That brings me to another question:

Is there some kind of file resizing going on in the background?

500x500px image is huge for thumbnail purpose and will increase page loading time. Clearly the images are resized smaller in the actual portfolio showcase – does the theme load a full size file and resize it in browser?

Looks like you sorted it?

Yes that is correct, our theme image script resizes your images so that only the required size is used, and resources aren’t wasted.
