portfolio showcase and homepage gaps

Hi,
Please can you tell me how make the “portfolio showcase” central or so it stretches from left to right, at present it’s is aligned to the left with a gap on the right.

Also how can I remove the big gap between “portfolio showcase” and the footer, I have already ticked remove space at bottom of the page but d not need such a big gap.

}
