    As I have the oldest support request that has received no response at all, I will try again:

    I’m using Cardinal, fully updated, and started with preloaded portfolio items from demo data. When adding new portfolio items, I have spacing errors in all layouts. Specifically, I am trying to use gallery with no gutter spacing, but am receiving a space between the rows, although not the columns. I have tried recreating the featured images at 800×800, 800×600 and 1200×900 to no avail, and have also tried regenerate thumbnails. Any idea what is going wrong here?

    UPDATE: I deleted all items and started over, which alleviated the issue for a while, before it began occurring again periodically with new posts. Delete that new post, try again, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn’t.

    UPDATE 2: I have isolated the problem and it seems somehow related to assigning categories and/or category filtering. When categories and filtering are disabled, the spacing issue is resolved.

    It’s a development site. I’ve disabled password for a while but will have to lock it up again before too long. Otherwise please send me a private message and I will provide the pass.

    Add this to your custom css:

    .no-gutters .portfolio-item {
      margin-top: 0;
    }

    Oops – one more thing… this did not fix the spacing on the topic filters in the portfolio.

    Hi,

    That issue in the Media category filter it’s caused by a conflict in the class name “media” of the filter category and the media classes used in bootstrap(css framework of the theme).

    One workaround is to change the slug of the Media Portfolio category. Something like this:

    Name: Media
    Slug: media-portfolio
