    Hi,
thank you so much for the option to choose your own portfolio permalink base. That’s great!

I use portfolios for different events, namely “workshops”, “retreats” and “trainings”. The urls should look like this.

    http://www.mysite.com/workshops/workshop-title
    http://www.mysite.com/retreats/retreat-title
    http://www.mysite.com/trainings/training-title

The last part with the title is no problem as it works with the common permalink setting “post name”. But in portfolio permalink base I have to choose one custom base. Is there an easy way to create the urls as I want them to be.

    Thanks for helping me.

    Cheers, Tom

    Hi,

The problem is that you can only have one custom name for the Portfolio or any other custom post type.

Maybe try something generic that can group all of them like the word “events”

And maybe add the category after that, so it would be something like events/Workshop/workshop-title

It’s just an idea, give it a try.

Thanks Rui for your answer. Actually I thought about that. Just wanted to check if there is a possibility to use more than one custom name for Portfolio.
Your suggestion will work for me.

    Cheers, Tom

No problem. That was the recommendation for the permalinks for the portfolio single page.

For the categories(Workshops, retreats, training) you can create specific pages called Workshops for instance and inside using our Swift page builder place an portfolio asset and edit it to show only the Workshop category.
