Hi guys,
Really enjoying building a new website on Dante however I seem to get an error on the portfolio page whereby not all my defined portfolio categories are displayed to enable filtering by each category.
I currently have 4 portfolio categories however on the portfolio page where you can filter by category, I can only filter by 1 category alongside the all option. I’m using the swift page builder and have checked the settings for the portfolio element so that it is set to display all 4 categories so I’m confused what is going on.
The code that is generated by the swift page builder is:
[portfolio display_type=”masonry” columns=”3″ show_title=”yes” show_subtitle=”yes” show_excerpt=”no” hover_show_excerpt=”no” excerpt_length=”20″ item_count=”12″ category=”All” portfolio_filter=”yes” pagination=”yes” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]You can view the page here to see what’s going on.
Could you offer any advice as to how I can fix this so that I can filter by all categories on this page? I’ve tried deleting both the page and the element as well as using pre-built pages and removing categories then reassigning them – all with no luck.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
Regards, Neil
May 19, 2014 at 10:34 am #75837Hi,
Please go to Admin -> Navigate to Portfolio -> Portfolio Category -> Take a screenshot of this page and attach here . I am sure that you dont have portfolio items under all 4 portfolio categories . You need to have at least one portfolio item under each portfolio category .Thanks ๐
With Best Regards
Swift IdeasMay 19, 2014 at 11:32 am #75872Hi Mohammad,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I have 9 portfolio items and as you will see in the screenshot, there are portfolio items assigned to the 4 designated categories.
Further, when I click view under each, I can see the portfolio items for each category, see links below:
‘Research & Guidance’
‘Restoration & Regeneration’
‘Strategy & Planning’
‘Working with people’Yet, ‘Working with people’ is the only link that is displayed from the portfolio page.
I hope this helps with working out what’s going on – let me know if you need any further information / screenshots.

Swift IdeasDecember 12, 2014 at 12:43 am #135254I appear to be having this same issue. I have three categories, and have created a portfolio item to match with each category, for testing purposes. I’ve confirmed that each item has been categorized, and I don’t have any empty categories (if that affects anything). On the main Portfolio page with the Swift Page Builder, using the Portfolio element, I have “All” selected for categories. Suggestions?
Here’s the page I’m building: http://wsi.kulshanclient.com/portfolio/
