hi, any suggestions to use fontastic svg icon instead of uploading images to media library?

instead of

/themes/cardinal/images/default-thumb.png

It will be much easier to upload an image to your child theme and apply with custom css

thanks, but i disagree, svg icons have less impact on page load time and therefore preferable to uploading images

Well if you want to switch the default image to an svg that’s your preference and therefore will have to work out yourself as this is something specific to your needs

Well seeing as WordPress does not allow svg to be uploaded to the media library, it’s not possible

If you can upload the the media library you should be able to use it

thanks, tried it, but cannot get to work – how about just removing swift default-thumb.png and displaying portfolio title without having to hover?
