Hi,
when I use a filtered portfolio, I can select the portfolio categories to be displayed.
I am having a problem because the site shows also categories that I didn’t select.
Mi guess is that if a portfolio Item is in two categories (say A and B) both will be shown (even if I only chose A).
If that’s right, then I have a big issue with Flexform. You think you can help me ?Link: http://www.lecturejeunesse.org/notices-critiques/
All the best,
Claudio
November 5, 2013 at 8:28 pm #30091Hi Claudio,
The portfolio filter will show all the categories that have at least one project published in them. If you want to hide one of those 3 categories from your filter, let me know which one(s) and I’ll provide some CSS to hide them.
Regards,

November 5, 2013 at 10:18 pm #30121Thanks Cosmin, that would be great !
I will need to hide more than one, could you give me some example code to hide two or more categories (lets’s say category-a and category-b) and I will adapt that to the website ?
Thanks again for your support,Claudio
November 11, 2013 at 10:28 am #30711I’m afraid from what I can see we don’t have the proper selector to hide categories. While we can add the text inside the category filter we cannot hide the surrounding box. But maybe Cosmin has a solution!
November 11, 2013 at 8:57 pm #30849That would be wonderful ! 🙂
I don’t know how to use the theme without this …
CNovember 14, 2013 at 8:43 pm #31418Hi Claudio,
Sorry for the delay. Your site requires login, I can’t see it to test the CSS anymore. You can privately reply with credentials, if you wish to keep it like that.

Can you please explain a little further what you’re looking for? I’ve had a look at your site, but am not sure what you’re trying to achieve with the filter?
I think the filter functionality is fairly straightforward, so not sure what you’re trying to do!

November 18, 2013 at 10:10 pm #31985Hi there,
on page http://www.lecturejeunesse.org/notices-critiques/
there are two categories in the filter
1) REV…
2) Romans…In the backoffice I’ve only selected “Romans…” because I don’t want REV… to display publicly.
So the question is: how to hide the category “REV…” since it appears even if I haven’t selected it ? 🙂
Thanks,
ClaudioNovember 19, 2013 at 8:00 pm #32173Hi Claudio,
If you want to remove that “Revue145-MARS2013” filter, add this in the Custom CSS box from the general theme options:
.revue145-mars2013 { display: none; }

January 28, 2014 at 7:54 am #45176Hi, thanks for the code but I am having a problem. If I use that code nothing show up in my portfolio page, as if not only the “revue145-mars2013” name was hidden but all the content tagged like that.
Is it possible to hide the category while showing its content ?January 31, 2014 at 6:35 am #45938Hey,
it seems the css solution will not work efficiently, so I will try to fix the problem, since it shouldn’t show both categories if you only selected one.
For that, please let me know administrator login details and make sure you are on the latest version of the theme and WP first.
Thank you!
