Hi Swift Theme
Thanks for your amazing support that makes this theme greater than it already is!
At this time I’m trying to realize a page like this http://www.mutti-parma.com/it/ricette
As you can see it uses a kind of portofolio filter that presents some different to the swift one:
– it allows multiple selections
– it shows subcategoriesIf it’s possible to realize the same item with the swift tool, it is possible to make some enhancement or install some add ons?
Furthermore the items that I want to show throw the portfolio filter are based on a custom post type “ricette”, but the filter looks not working with custom post types items.
Have you any advice on how to enable the portfolio filter for the custom post type items too?
Thank you in advance
gg

In the meantime I made some steps ahead
For the point 2 – Category and Subcategory
I used a swift tools combination: Tabs + Portfolio.http://www.ehi.net/soresina/ricette-soresina-2/
But, as you can see form in attachments, even if I selected in the portfolio grid the categories related to the relative tab, the tool keeps on showing the all categories.
Is it the tool that is not working properly?
Furthermore when I pass from a Tab to another it suffers some pagination issues.
Is there a way to manage it?
The point 1 – Multiple sorting
Keeps unsolvedAttachments:

Unfortunately that customisation is beyond our scope of support as it is more work than a small customisation.
We only provide support for theme issues, and at times basic customisations. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time.
We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need to make that customisation:

Forget about that portfolio customization I decided to not follow that road!
Now my problem is that portfolio filtering is not working properly as it shows all categories and not only the selected ones.

As you can see in the page switching from a tab to the other the displayed categories are always the same
Can you provide some quick support about that please?

Please add valid login details the above are not working.
Thanks.

I am certain the portfolio asset should/used to only output the item categories that you have selected to limit the item by. I’ll need to follow this up.
Thanks,

Any news about the portfolio filtering issues?
Have you found some solution?Thanks
ggAugust 1, 2016 at 4:39 pm #285303The filter categories are correct:
These four items all share these categories:
10 min
15 min
20 min
Antipasto
Difficile
Dolce
Facile
Media
Primo
Secondohttp://www.ehi.net/soresina/wp-admin/post.php?post=117&action=edit

http://www.ehi.net/soresina/wp-admin/post.php?post=113&action=editAugust 1, 2016 at 5:43 pm #285318Thanks David
But a post can be part of 2 or more categories as a recipe can be part of the “10 min” recipes and of the “First Plat” ones.
If the purpose of the filter is to organize the content basing on the categories it should to show only the categories selected and not all the categories related to the posts, because i’m filtering the categories and not the posts. Is it possible to have a quick update of the tool in the next days with this functionality implemented?
Thanks for your effort

Have you ever listen about Filtrify https://github.com/luis-almeida/filtrify ?
It has to be installed with Isotope. Do you think it can generate conflict with swift framework?August 4, 2016 at 10:51 am #285870I have not tested it, you would certainly need a developer to integrate this with the theme.
Thanks,
David. -
