Is it possible to have the portfolio display its items in the modal shortcode?
I tried creating a modal, putting in the content from the portfolio page, and it worked great. Then i copied the button-link-url and put it into the portfolio settings, so when you click a portfolio thumbnail, it links to the modal. But i dosn’t work, when you click the thumbnail it sends you to the page where i created the modal button, instead of opening the modal. Even if i leave out the modal page, like this domain.com/#modal-2, where the button-link-url is domain.com/modal/#modal-2, it still doesn’t work.

    thank you

    Hi,

I guess that is no possible by default.
Can you provide us a link to the portfolio pages so we can check it anyway?

    Hi,

Checked the link, and unfortunately to achieve this it’s necessary significant customization time.
Will move this topic to the feature request section so that the development team may consider this in a future development.
