I am adding over 100 portfolio items I am needing help with the following:
1. I can’t find where I can set my default display (split / description) globally. I tried in the theme options under default meta and custom post options but nothing there.
2. I need to remove the date and category from the single profile page Can this be a global option because even when I do it on each portfolio item (Hide item details bar) it also removes my social sharing? I would prefer to do it globally as my client will be adding new items and will probably forget to check that in the backend.
3. If I click on the category in the single portfolio page I get a different layout to the one I have set in my page using the portfolio element. Is there a way to set the default display of the category page so it will match my portfolio element layout? I’m sure others will have this same problem.

4. One last thing, I have a fairly thin landscape image (and there could be pics like this in the future when my client uploads things). I have set the portfolio to Gallery and I thought this would make all thumbnails the same size unlike masonry but this image shows “white space” below in the thumbnail page. Is there something I am missing?
