Portfolio Category items

The portfolio category’s I have selected in the ‘Edit portfolio’ section of the swift builder, don’t show the ones selected. Only show all categories. See screenshot (http://screencast.com/t/TMb4Wd62m). I don’t want the categories homepage-portfolio-section-1 & homepage-portfolio-section-2 to appear as per screenshot.
When I go to my page these do appear even though they are not selected?

Am I doing something wrong or is this function not working correctly?

Hi,
Are using latest version of theme dante 2.53 ?

I’m using v2.5 which was only 3 weeks ago that it was on this latest theme.

Was it a something that has been fixed in the latest updates?

Every time I have to update the theme, it means back up FTP, backing up Database, copying all widgets code, then updating and having to go through and make sure nothing has been deleted.
Please let me know if this is a new fix and will fix my issue, as I don’t want to waste time. Thanks so much.

Hi there,

Apologies that it’s taken so long to get a proper answer to this.

The way the portfolio works is, that the category select is used to pull in items from each of the selected categories. The reason that category shows up is because the filters show for all categories that have items visible on the page. I can understand why you’d want to hide that category, but it’s not really technically viable to not have something that wouldn’t show that category.

The best thing I can suggest is to add this custom css, and it will hide that filter option:

ul.portfolio-filter-tabs li a.homepage-portfolio-section-1 {
display: none!important;
}
