Portfolio Categories-parent/child

I was wondering why Dante allows you to have Parents(main categories) and Children(subcategories) but when they are filtered on the Portfolio page the parents and children are both on the same level and you cannot tell one from the other. It would make sense to me, for example in my case, to have “Video” as a Parent Category and then “Interview”, “Live Demo”, “Marketing” etc. as Child categories that break “Video” down even further on a separate line underneath the “Parent” categories. I have attached a screenshot of what is happening now, I would like “Video” to be selected on a hover state and “Interview, “Live Demo”, “Marketing” etc. to pop up as subcategories underneath on a separate line.

We have a lot of videos and this is something that would REALLY help us out and make the experience for the users a lot more friendly. I was hoping there was a trick or some custom code to help achieve what would be a very valuable function.

Unfortunately that is not part of the current theme functionality, and it’s not within the scope of our support to be able to provide that functionality as it is more work than a small customisation. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time.
