Portfolio Categories Not Showing

Hi,

Some of the portfolio categories aren’t showing on my portfolio page. I’ve selected it to show all categories and it will display the image, but not the categories for filtering.

On this page it’s not showing any categories for filtering.

Any help would be great.

Have you assigned portfolios to the respective categories? Please check and let us know.

Yes, every portfolio item is assigned a category. And they are working on other pages that display only category specific images. It’s just on the portfolio page it doesn’t show all categories.

Hi there,

The filter will only show categories for which there are items displayed on the page – otherwise pressing those filters will show no items as it can only filter what is on the page. If you increase the number of items shown on each page to show them all, you can prevent this behaviour.

Hi I am having the same problem. Everything was working fine and where you see ‘all’ here I had all my categories showing.

However I just went into the CMS and simply changed the names of the categories and now everything has disappeared and I’m left with ‘all’ rather than the category titles which you can see in this SS

Hi there,

Check the slugs for those categories – looks like they don’t match the names, which they should do. I.e. If the name is Branding, the slug should be “branding”.
