Hi,
I recently updated the website with the latest version of WP and theme.
The portfolio overview pages used to display all the common categories. Unfortunately it now only shows “all” in the filter and not the other categories.Any idea what is going on here?
Many thanks.

I’ll forward this to my colleague to see if he knows the issue

January 28, 2015 at 3:10 pm #145185Hi,
Can you check the pages again?
Inside the portfolio asset it seems that no category was selected, I changed that and it seems ok now.

January 30, 2015 at 12:21 pm #145749Hi, thank you for looking into this.
The website has been running for some time now but since the update the filter behaves differently.
When you select all it will display the filter correctly and shows all the existing categories. Unfortunately there are different portfolio pages where I would like to display a certain category, ie Landscapes. Then the filter should show the other existing categories, ie Abstract, For sale etc etc… but since the update it refuses to do so.
Has anything changed in the way the filter works?
Many thanks!
January 30, 2015 at 12:39 pm #145752That’s strange.
Can you provide us the link of the page where you have only 1 category?
thanks-Rui
February 4, 2015 at 3:03 pm #147228Hi,
Recent Paintings pages only have 1 category selected in the page-builder.
These pages used to show all related categories in the filter, ie lanscapes, abstract, portraits. Unfortunately this no longer works.
If I select ‘all’ I obviously get all the paintings and the filter works correctly. But this is not what I would want.
Many thanks!
February 4, 2015 at 3:20 pm #147232Hi,
just selected All again and it’s seems fine.
Can you check?-Rui
February 5, 2015 at 8:32 am #147431You are right all the portfolio items are showing. What I’m actually referring to is the filter above the items. It used to show all other categories present on the page.

Can you check what you are seeing now?-Rui
March 25, 2015 at 9:34 am #160530Hi, unfortunately this is still not working.
I’ve made a test site with Dante and created 4 portfolio items. Each with 1 common category Landscapes. Each item also has 1 additional category.
On the portfolio page I’ve selected only the Lanscapes category. Viewing the page gives me the following result:
http://development.sporecreation.nl/test2/landscapes-dante-theme/
As you can see the filter will not give me the additional categories. Instead it only shows All <4>.I’ve tried this with the Cardinal theme and it works perfectly, ie. showing a filter with the additional categories:
http://development.sporecreation.nl/test2/landscapes-cardinal-theme/Unfortunately changing themes is not an option as there are over 200 items on the website 🙁
Not sure what happened as it used to work fine. Any ideas?
Many thanks!

The filters seem to be working in the original link.
