Portfolio Carousel is Crashing Pages

Howdy,

I’m having a really strange but pretty major problem. Suddenly any page that has a portfolio carousel on it will not load. I get a 500 Internal Server Error. I spoke to our host and they said that they’re getting a major draw for resources from those pages and the server errors out.

I determined the portfolio carousel was the error by rebuilding a page piece by piece. All came back up fine until I loaded the portfolio carousel piece. Then I get the error. An example page: http://focusingresources.com/?portfolio=navigating-edge-treasure-maps-master-class

Hi,

That’s strange, can you try to disable all plugins and repeat the test.
Can you provide and page url where you have the Portfolio carousel?

Hi Rui,

Thanks. I disabled a number of plugins, but it didn’t help, so I just removed the portfolio carousels from the pages that were affected. Of course, I left one for testing purposes. After I’d taken most of them down, they started working again. I’m at a loss as to what the problem really was.

Thanks for the attention, but I suppose it’s a false alarm.
